Graysen Allen Kevin Glines

Graysen was born on August 18, 2017 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah to Kayla Kampstra and Allen Brent Glines. He came into this world as part of a set of triplets along with his brother Parker and sister Allie.

During the course of Graysen’s short life, he dealt with many challenges. He always met these roadblocks with the utmost level of bravery and came out on the other end with a smile on his face, asking for a cookie. You wouldn’t know that Graysen had any limitations in life if you saw how he lived. He worked as hard as he possibly could to keep up with his siblings and always wanted to be in the middle of everything. When faced with each setback, he focused and put all of his energy towards his recovery. Nothing in this world could hold him back or keep him down if he had anything to say about it.

Graysen is survived by his mother Kayla (Thomas) Kampstra and father Allen Glines; siblings Parker, Adysen, Amiliya, Lincoln, Oaklee, Reese, and Jamesen; grandparents Kim (Ricky) Jensen and Jean (Drew) Christensen; and the many people who met and loved Graysen throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his sister Allie Glines; and grandfather Brent Glines.

The family would like to thank all of the people who helped Graysen medically during his life, including his pediatrician Catherine Stokes, respiratory therapist Chris Hartling, home health nurse Laura Chausse, ENT doctor Jeremy Meier, and countless medical professionals at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital, McKay-Dee Hospital, and Primary Children’s Medical Center, and all the other medical offices who were integral in Graysen’s journey.

A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 with a graveside service at 1pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Both will be held at Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home. 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, OR 97086.
