I started working at Acropolis in my 20s.  And early 30s  (25 years ago )We called him ‘Boss’.  He was a great boss. Lots of memories.  He will be missed 💙🙏😇

Boss was a good big hearted trusting man and a big family man. He had great work ethic and determination that was rare to find. He was proud of his family and always thinking of them first. It was an honor just to know him. You’ll be missed very much in this world. 

I worked for you for 8 years Bobby. You were always kind, full of joy, and had an endless drive to work. Thank you for being part of my life I am happy I got to meet someone like you. God bless.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Boss most of my life. My Grandmother and Mother worked for him and I've worked for him for the last 5 years. Everyday I would ask how are you today Boss? His reply was always "Ohh Same" and then he would smile. Anytime I would say Boss, I'm your favorite right? Again, he would respond the same every time, "No, I loving ALL my workers!" Whenever we were slow I would ask him about his time on the ships and his face would light up! It didn't matter how many times I heard those stories, I never got tired of hearing them and he never got tired of telling them. Boss was so driven from a young age, something you don't see often! I'm going to miss you Old Man.

Devastated to hear that “Boss” had passed away.  I was always greeted with a smile by him and often enjoyed friendly conversations.  He was a gentleman with a kind soul and great sense of humor.  I’ll miss my friend.  My condolences to his family and loved ones.  May he Rest In Peace.  

Boss called me Jew-Nada, I started waitressing at Acropolis in 2001. Boss was the hardest working man I have ever met. He came in early and left late. He had the best smile ever. His famous saying to me was," Jew-Nada, you Opa too much!" Lol I can hear him saying it now, and we can never forget Black Santa. Boss you will be truly missed and will forever be in our hearts!!! <3 <3

I had the pleasure of working for "Boss" and Acropolis for a little over 11 years.  (It was only supposed to be a temporary job.)  Early on,  one of the cooks named me Maria and ever since then,  that's all Boss called me. (Pretty sure he forgot my real name.)  I started decorating the bar for Christmas and since then,  the day after Thanksgiving,  he would always ask, "Maria, when you going to decorate?"  When I was done,  his face would light up!!! His final touch.... Hohoho Santa and black Santa.  I will never forget that smile!!! His smile, all the stories, his work ethic, his love for that salad bar or his laugh.

Easily one of the best bosses I’ve ever had. “Boss” and his sons have treated me with kindness, respect and loyalty over the past 7-8 years and I will never forget the many memories of telling Bobby to “Get off the bar!”, “Get off that ladder!” and “Get off that roof!” when I’d work with him. He was always fascinated with and encouraged my side projects along with always wanting me to shoot (photography) his cows. R.I.P. Boss! 

Boss hired me right after College. I loved working for him and it was some of the best  six years of my life We were all like a big family. Boss was kind sweet and funny. when ever I would tell him a customer was being a jerk he would tell them to leave.He was a good man. Rip Bobby (boss)

I met "Boss" when I was about 15 years old, my Mom worked at the Acropolis, She had me come to the back door and show Boss that I knew how to say the Greek alphabet... :-) from then on I could do no wrong in his eyes...I had the pleasure of working at the Acrop on and off for 15 years...thanks for always being in my corner...rest easy

My favorite memory is when after 3 weeks of his Santa that yelled ho ho ho was missing all of a sudden reappeared him being so happy and smileing picking it up checking it out making sure it wasn't a duplicate he said yes this him he coming back and was so happy he put him up by coffee pot every year.He loved decorations for the holidays💙

This man right here was an incredible person.  He gave me my 1st job ever and he liked telling people about it.  He was very caring of his employees.  We went a long way back, 1991.  He employed a lot of my family, Aunt JoAnne was the beginning.  Not only was he my employer, but I believe I can call him my friend.  His family is absolutely amazing and I have so much love for all of them.  I'm gonna miss our talks and reminiscing of the good ole days, we had some good talks, a lot of memories, I will never forget.  Boss taught me a lot about cooking, he also taught me some things about life...A VERY SMART, CARING MAN.
