Heather was born in Medford, Oregon on May 15, 1989 and moved to Portland in 1993. She attended: Meek Elementary, Whitaker Middle School, Benson High School and Portland Community College. Growing up she was active in church using her gift of helping wherever it was needed. She dedicated herself to the Lord and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in 2004.
Heather aka "Ther Ther" and "Header" had an amazing sense of humor. Whether by teasing or cracking jokes it was her goal to have fun and put a smile on your face. Even on the worst of days her beautiful smile and contagious laugh would brighten your day. She lived life to the fullest and made many friends over the years. She constantly demonstrated care and compassion to those in need and was always there for a friend. Heather loved her family and friends but it is her precious son, Jayden Rogers that stole her heart. He is our gift from her and an assurance her spirit will continue on.
Heather left an imprint on everything she did. She was intelligent and a hard worker. As an athlete she played soccer, softball and basketball. Her contributions as a fierce "baller" will always be remembered. First as a "Cisco" kid then onto Benson High School where she was known as #10. Heather also loved to camp, fish, take photos, listen to music, eat good food and just hang out with friends and family. A tomboy at heart with her slicked back hair in a pony tail, xxl sweats, basketball shoes and a tee she made an amazing transformation into a beautiful young woman and mother.
Heather Elaine Rogers was loved dearly by her family and friends and she will forever be in our hearts. In her own words taken from her high school graduation memory book: "Never forget about his cool Red Head." I LOVE YOU ALL, YOU WILL BE MISSED!
Heather is survived by her 17 month old son, Jayden Rogers; parents, Will and Lori Warren and Jeff Rogers; sister, Michelle Eggers, brothers, Traevon Warren, Alexander Warren and Michael Brown; grandmothers, Ethelyn Russell, Francis Wine and Elizabeth Warren and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and brother in law.
