Jimmy Gene Crow, age 79, of Portland, Oregon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Born and raised in Portland to Floyd and Margaret Crow, Jimmy spent his entire life in the city he loved.
After proudly serving four years in the U.S. Navy, Jimmy worked for many years as a janitor for a large company in downtown Portland before enjoying a well-earned retirement. Known for his generous heart, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family, Jimmy was a loyal, hardworking man who would do anything for the people he loved.
He had a passion for NASCAR racing, basketball, football, bowling, and trips to the beach. Above all, Jimmy cherished time with his daughters, Lisa Michelle Stone (youngest) and Kristie Louise Crow (oldest). Though divorced, he and their mother remained close friends and united in their love for their girls.
Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Lisa and Kristie; his brother, Eldon Crow; and his sister, Fran Rudich. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at Skyline Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229, where Jimmy will be laid to rest.
