Hello mom, just sitting here and thinking tomorrow is your birthday. You and dad are always on my mind, and Jay misses you very much for your cooking, which he very much enjoyed. I wanted to tell you and dad that I got to see and meet Lalo, finally this past month. He is in the Marine Corps stationed in Hawaii. I cried when I saw him, dad would of been proud of him.
All is fine with Jay and myself, except that you and dad are always with me. Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jay and I send our love across the miles, thru all the stars and the moon. I love you with all my heart!

Mom,  De Anna here, I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of you. The weather finally turned cold down here in Texas, but no snow was on the ground. I have always known that this was our favorite holiday, because the trees have always turned to the colors, that really meant something to us. Jay and I are fine, I know you and dad are looking over us. I wanted to tell dad that Lalo finally called Jay and I and he is stationed in Hawaii, I wish that you both were here to see him, I know that dad kept asking about him, but I did not have any information about the situation. But he is safe back in my mind and he knows that the both of you are gone. Not much else to say, but I still miss both of you very much. The world is not the same with the both of you gone. But I know that you are watching over us. My love and kisses go out to you both. This note is from the heart and my soul. Love De Anna, Jay, Lalo, Tooey, Maui, my two black cats, and my other green parrot Chicken. Love You!

My mom has always been a source of importance to me and my children. Where I grew up as a child still had its effect on me as an adult, this was the place of refuge when things got out of hand! My favorite time of the year was always in the fall when you could look across the valley and see the leaves changing colors. As my childten grew up, they  both loved my mothers cooking,for me this a plus,as I still hold the traditio tshat I was brought up with! I miss you both, but yiu have taught me so many things that are still important in my life and I thank for that! Love De Anna!

Mom, De Anna here. I just wanted to tell you that we actually had snow here in Tx, and you would of loved it, the flakes reminded me of when we would have snow at home up to the house. After this storm, the weather has turned warm, and it seems that all the flowers are starting to bloom. I am missing you and dad so much, but you are both in my heart and soul, Jay sends his love across the miles. Have to run for now. We both are holding on to the memory of you and dad. Mom, De Anna here, it is New Years Eve, and I remember the oyster stew that you used to make for dad, Jay and I are thinking of you both, we are supposed to get snow down in in TX, but we will wait and see. The year of 2018 is going to be a hard one for me, I am still getting used to the idea that you and dad are both gone, and then Gladys left also. Lve De Anna!

Good Morning mom, De Anna here, I just wanted to tell you that I love you and I wanted to thank you for the snow that you sent our way here in Tx, on the day that you went to be with dad, You and dad have both enriched my life and that of Jay and Michelle, and that you will always be in my heart. Your picture is so different than the lady I Remember...i was so hard headed as a child growing up... but she always had the patients of a saint and was never afraid to tell you what she thought...i thank you and grandpa for helping me to become the person I am today.You will be missed.

My dear sister JoAnne, was so glad I got to spend the afternoon with you and Roxy recently.I always enjoyed our talks on the phone and I always liked your fruit cake you used to make at Christmas time. I will miss you but I know you are where your heart wanted to be "home with your beloved husband". Rest well my sister. I love you. Maryann

Mom, I didn't think that you would be taken so soon from us, but you are with dad,and that is the most importan thing in life, you both gave us life and raised us for who we are today. This is DeAnna, and Jay and Michelle, and all my critters are thinking about you. I love you and I am going to miss you with all my heart, the quality that I am going to miss is the way that you taught me to cook, it will always be appreciated. Luv your daughter, De Anna!
