Morgan, June Irene 92 Aug. 04, 1923 Aug. 27, 2015 "Nana," June (Postal) Morgan, passed away Aug. 27, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. A petite, spirited redhead, June was a child of the Great Depression. She grew up in the Milwaukie area and graduated with letters in three sports. She met George at Oaks Roller Rink at age 15 and married him five years later. They were excellent "Jitterbuggers," winning several dance contests. They raised their three children in a wonderful neighborhood where many of the families enjoyed waterskiing together on the Columbia River. June and George opened St. Johns Honda Motorcycles in 1964 and added cars in 1969. They employed several family members through the years and thought of all their employees as family. June loved throwing an annual Christmas party at her home replete with a band and dancing. Honda rewarded them with many national and international trips. June was attentive, compassionate and generous with her time and resources. Her most commonly uttered phrase was "How are you?" and "How can I help you?" She never lost her quick wit and spunky sense of humor. She took up oil painting in her 70s and tap dancing in her 80s. She adored her grand and great-granddaughters, even designing a granddaughter suite for overnighters in her home. She had an uncanny way of making each of us feel as if we were the most important person in the world. We are left with a gigantic hole in our hearts; may we all fill that hole with the Jesus she so lovingly reflected. We are especially grateful to June's caregiver and friend, Elaine; former housekeeper, Karla; and grandniece, Louise, who also cheered her on. June is survived by her daughter, Penny Johnson (Jerry); son, Greg; granddaughters, Heidi Sanders (Mark), Carrie (Rafael), Mandy (Jan) and Molly Fox; great-granddaughters, Bre, Bran and Rose; nieces; and nephew, Rick Postal. June was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; ex-husband, George; son, Scott; and daughter-in-law, Colleen. A memorial service for June will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Lincoln Memorial Park, 11801 S.E. Mount Scott Blvd., Portland.
