Kathleen Margaret Miller Kucera, 71. Born June 13, 1946, she passed away July 6, 2017 after a lengthy illness with stage five kidney failure. She leaves her husband of fifty years, Dennis C. Kucera, her son Paul, West Columbia Texas, his wife Devon, and grandsons, Nicholas and Evan, and her daughter, Heidi Kucera-Taylor, Portland, Oregon, son-in-law, Wayne Taylor, and their two sons, Gavin and Landon. Kathleen is survived by an older sister, Arlene Benway, and younger brother Sammy Miller. Kathleen attended Boise Grade School and transferred to Highland Grade School in the seventh grade. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964. After training at Northwestern School of Commerce she held several Executive Secretarial positions, most notably fourteen years at U.S. Bank of Oregon. She was Executive Secretary to the Chief Credit Officer on the thirty-sixth floor of the bank tower known as "Big Pink". Kathleen will be buried at Wilamette National Cemetery.
