

He was born to the late Peter and Agnes Sitner October 13th, 1933, in Portland, Oregon where he resided until his passing. Kenneth graduated from Jefferson High School, served in the Army was married to the late Barbara Sitner for 49 years.
Upon completion of his military service Ken worked for Nabisco for a short time and then joined Pacific Northwest Bell. He retired from US West in 1990 after 36 years of dedicated service.
Ken was a long-time member of the Gateway Elks. He and Barbara enjoyed spending time at their beach house on the Oregon coast and taking long winter vacations to Kona, Hawaii.
Ken is survived by his three sons: Bruce Sitner and Dan Sitner of Milwaukie, Oregon, Scott Sitner of Gresham, Oregon and was preceeded in death by his daughter Kara Sitner. He also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Hopewell House Hospice 6171 S. W. Capitol Highway Portland, Oregon97239.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held Saturday July 19th, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Outback Steakhouse located at 2424 S. E. Burnside in Gresham, Oregon.
