Thank you, Co Dung, for all the memories and the impact you’ve had on me and my family. Although we weren’t related, I considered you my auntie, because you always cared for my well-being and checked in on me even when I lived miles and miles away. Your bravery, kindness, and joy was inspiring, and I’m grateful for all the times I spent with you and your family.

Linda was a beautiful soul, the most kind, thoughtful, and humble person I've ever known!  I will miss you a lot my dearest friend, rest in peace🙏😢🙏

I worked with Linda at Intel in the early 2000's. I was tasked with securing support for the work on data quality that Linda and another IT person were doing for the Sales & Marketing Group. It was inspiring because Linda was so deeply knowledgeable and dedicated to her very complex and challenging work (because the importance of data quality was not generally understood). She was unfailingly patient with non technical colleagues, kind and truly a valuable partner. I was happy to engage her as a financial advisor after her retirement, because my trust for her was so high; I felt I could trust her with my life. I felt taken care of by her over the years, and I am so grateful to her for that. She always had time to explain things, and remind me fairly gently of what I needed to do if I'd not done it yet. I miss her. This is how I think of her: She left loving footprints wherever she walked.

Linda’s passing leaves a deep sense of loss in all of us who had the privilege to know her and witness her remarkable spirit. My wife and I fondly recall the many gatherings at Linda and Nguyen's house, where friendship blossomed over dinners, coffee, and cakes, creating lasting memories that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Linda and I worked together at Intel in the Development Tools Operation (DTO), where I focused on hardware and Linda excelled in software. Her technical brilliance was always evident, and we shared a mutual respect for each other’s work. 

Linda and my wife shared an especially close bond, one that went beyond friendship to become almost sisterly. Whether it was their regular walks or countless lunches and coffee dates, they cherished each other's company and built a deep connection over the years.

Linda's fight against cancer, which began in 1996, was nothing short of heroic. To receive such a devastating diagnosis just months after giving birth to Austin and still maintain such an indomitable spirit speaks volumes about her character. For more than twenty-five years, she faced the challenges of her illness with extraordinary strength and grace, never allowing it to define her or diminish her joy for life. Her ability to persevere, to love, and to continue thriving was an inspiration to all of us.

One of the qualities I admired most in Linda was her positive outlook on life. Even in the face of such adversity, she was always hopeful and determined. She turned what could have been a burden into an opportunity for personal growth, reinventing herself and giving back to those in need.

Linda was a rare soul, and though her presence will be greatly missed, her memory will live on in our hearts. We will always remember her as a devoted wife, mother, friend, and fighter who faced life’s challenges with unwavering courage and grace. Rest in peace, Linda. You have left an indelible mark on all of us.
