She worked as a secretary for various government offices and agencies and lived in San Francisco and Washington D.C. during World War II.
Margaret married Leo Boynton in 1947, having 3 daughters, they divorced in 1968. Margaret was actively involved in her church activities. She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Leeth, Karen Watt, Roberta Carter, her brother Glenn Knutson, his wife Carol, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Margaret passed away on April 6, 2014 in Portland, Oregon. No public services will be held per her request.
