June 2, 1928 - June 19, 2012
Peg lived in many places, with her parents, as a young woman. Born in Illinois, her family moved all over the southeast, finally landing in one place long enough for her to graduate from LSU. After their 1950 marriage in Georgia, Peg and Ralph moved from coast to coast several times for job transfers. Moving to Portland in 1966, they found a place they loved and never left.
Enjoying various volunteer activities and hobbies, Peg dedicated many hours to Girl Scouts of America and Lake Oswego Friends of the Library Booktique. Hobbies included reading, gardening, sewing, knitting, needlepoint, compiling complete genealogies of family, and traveling the United States and Europe with her husband.
Peg's family would like to thank West Hills Assisted Living for their diligent care during the time Ralph and Peg lived there. Loving thanks also are given to Unique Care Family Home owners and staff as they wonderfully provided for Peg's needs like family, during her four-plus years with them. Housecall Providers was extremely helpful with medical care for Mom as was Housecall Providers Hospice. We are thankful for the superior attention given to our parents during their time with each of these organizations.
A Private family Memorial has been planned in Magaret's honor.
