Maria Vesa

Since her early childhood, she settled with her parents in the town of Campia Turzii due to their employment at the Industria Sarmei factory in the town.

She finished general school and high school in Campia Turzii, after which she attended the Babes Bolyai College of Economic Sciences in Cluj Napoca, obtaining a bachelor degree in economics.

After graduating from college, she was employed as an economist at Fabrica Industria Sarmei in Campia Turzii, where she worked until her retirement.

In 1975, she married Liviu Vesa, and God blessed them with two children, Ciprian and Oana.

Ciprian settled in the United States of America in 2000, where together with his wife Anca they have 3 children, Jasmine, Luca and Lara.

After the grandchildren were born, Maria decided to come to the USA to help raise them, loving them unconditionally from the first day to the last, giving them patience, attention and love that will last in their souls forever, loving Buni just as much as she did love them.

Later, her husband Liviu and daughter Oana followed her, all of them settling in the USA.

Her life has changed in the recent years, having health problems, and in recent months they have worsened, she could no longer resist and lost the battle against the disease.

She passed away at home, on September 9, 2024 at 10:45 PM, surrounded by her loved ones, leaving a huge pain and void in the souls of the family she loved beyond words.

She is survived by her family:

Husband Liviu, son Ciprian with his wife Anca and their children, Jasmine, Luca and Lara,

daughter Oana.

A visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary, 6801 SW SUNSET HWY, PORTLAND, OR 97225.

A funeral service will occur Monday, September 16, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:45 PM, 6801 SW SUNSET HWY, PORTLAND, OR 97225.

A graveside service will occur Monday, September 16, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 6801 SW SUNSET HWY, PORTLAND, OR 97225.
