Marian Gayle Aab

Gayle was a 1969 graduate of Tulsa Edison High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On October 7, 1972, she married Larry Aab in Stratford, Oklahoma. They had met on a blind date and quickly fallen in love, and were married six months later.

Mrs. Aab chose a career working as a medical assistant for many doctors and clinics, and as an EKG Technician at Portland Adventist Hospital. She enjoyed quilting and reading, but her true devotion was to her family. Every breath she took was in compassionate support of making their lives better, and she would want to be remembered for the legacy of the family that she leaves behind.

She was a longtime member of Gateway Baptist Church in Portland, and a current member of Abundant Life Church in Happy Valley.

Mrs. Aab was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Townsend, and her mother, Dolores Townsend, and by brothers Kenneth A. Townsend and Stanley W. Townsend.

She will be missed and remembered by

Her husband of 52 years, Larry Aab; children Amy Michelle Dudley and husband Shawn and Aaron Matthew Aab and wife Amy; grandchildren Taryn Johnson and husband Michael, Olivia Bailey and husband Jonathan, Xander Lockard, Aiden Aab, and Adalyn Aab; great-grandchildren Gideon, Alden, and Milo Johnson, and Graham Bailey; brother William Andrew “Andy” Townsend.

At Gayle’s request, a small, private graveside service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations in her memory to the Amplify Fund at Abundant Life Church of Happy Valley.
