Marinela Popa was born in Timisoara Romania on April 5, 1966. She moved to Downey California on October 15, 1975 and graduated from Downey High school in 1985. She worked in Marketing, in Los Angeles California, until she moved to Beaverton Oregon on April 7, 1994. While building the Adult Family Home business, she worked in Real estate for 2 years. Then, she continued in the family business, for the next 26 years. During that time Marinela, enjoyed her church community at Beaverton Foursquare Church, where she volunteered in the prayer ministry, for many years. Marinela was a loving daughter, sister and friend with the gift of encouragement and helping others. She always put other people’s needs, ahead of her own. On October 25, 2022, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be missed by all.

A funeral service and viewing for Marinela will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Following the funeral service and viewing will be a viewing from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229.
