Marion Peters was born on September 8th, 1918 to Fred and Violet Peters in Pendleton, Oregon. He graduated from high school, served in the CCC, went to radar schol in the service and was promoted to Sargeant Technichian.
Marion commanded a radar station at Fort Stevens Oregon. He worked as a paper hanger and painter for several major companies, and decorated M & F, Nordstrom's, Lipmann & Wollf, the Shirokiya in Hawaii. He was also a life long member of Painter's Local No. 10.
Marion met and married Joyce Peters and they remained happily married for over 67 years. He passed away on Tuesday, November 13th, and will be dearly missed.
