Mary Ellen (Hoge) Mumford

Mary Ellen (Hoge) Mumford of Portland, Oregon went to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on September 13, 1920. She loved birds, flowers, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Her favorite outings were going to Multnomah Falls on the old highway & meeting her friends at Dunkin Donuts where she would happily show off her granddaughters when they visited.

Her greatest delight and comfort was in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We know she is with Him for eternity and look forward to joining her in Heaven.

Her surviving family include daughter, Lisa Fisher (Charlie), granddaughters, Krista Sterr (Kaehler), Bethany Fisher, and Anjerie Fisher with great-grandson, Rhyason.

Mary loved poetry. This is a favorite of hers and is fitting for her October passing.
