Mary Anna Neuharth was born July 24, 1929 in Astoria, Oregon to Margaret and Rudy Bosshart. She attended Western Business College, then met and married Chet Neuharth in 1948. They were blessed with six children, Steve, Denise, Renee, Matthew, Felice and Mitchell. She had an active busy life as a working mother and devoted wife. Mary enjoyed being involved in the activities of her large family. She lost her battle with cancer, passing peacefully at home, on July 27, 2014. She was 85 years old. Mary is survived by her husband Chet Neuharth, her children, Steve Neuharth, his wife Beth, Denise Cooper, her husband Mike, Renee Scott, Matt Neuharth, Felice Denis, her husband Ken and Mitchell Neuharth, as well as her sister Carol Johnson and brother William Bosshart. She had five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren who brought her much joy. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 15, 2014 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 2310 SE 148th Avenue, Portland, OR 97233.
