

MaryLou C. Storm Oct. 24th, 1946 - Jan. 27th, 2017 MaryLou (Caniparoli) Storm passed away on January 27th, 2017, in her home, as per her wishes after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She went peacefully surrounded by her loving and supportive family. MaryLou was born to Dr. Sante Dario Caniparoli and Roberta Blanche (Snyder) Caniparoli in Portland, Oregon on October, 24th, 1946. MaryLou attended St. Rose parochial school, Holy Child Academy, and later Grant High School all of Portland, Oregon. MaryLou went on to attend Willamette University before moving to Denver, Colorado where she would meet her future husband Ralph Edward Storm Jr. After their marriage, they made their home in Portland, Oregon where they raised their family. MaryLou was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. As a home-maker she was known as "Mom" to the many friends of her children. She could often be found volunteering on field trips, at the school library, tutoring, and fundraising when her children were young. MaryLou then became active in the Providence Child Center Guild alongside her mother. She was a dedicated volunteer who later served as President of the Guild. MaryLou later became a co-owner and business woman who along with her husband operated their own company, Creative Oak Products, until their retirement. She and Ed then enjoyed exploring the Pacific Northwest, spending much of their time at the Oregon coast and Mt. Hood. MaryLou, in true form found herself later caring for both of her ageing parents with all the love and devotion, she was known for. Family meant everything to MaryLou, her motto being "family first". She supported whole heartily her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren's passions, dreams, and endeavors. MaryLou also enjoyed many hobbies. Some of her favorites would include travel, playing golf, painting, and enjoying the fine arts, such as the symphony, the Pops, and the theater. These passions continue through her children, and her children's children. Marylou's generosity knew no bounds. She always had a hug to give, words of wisdom and comfort to share, and a heart that did not judge. She gave to many individuals a helping hand, and donated to countless organizations including, ASPCA, Oregon Humane Society, Providence Child Center Guild, HRC, and OPB, to name just a few. MaryLou is survived by her children: son, Dario Storm, and partner, Ron Hollenbeck; daughter, Katie (Storm) Bouldin, and husband, Michael Bouldin; son, Eric Storm, and wife, Jessica Storm. Step children: Mark Storm, and wife, Linda Storm; Cynthia (Storm) Backer, and husband, Alan Backer; James Storm, and wife, Tara Storm. Grandchildren: AnnaLeah Lucero, Madelynn Lucero, Brooke Bouldin, Mickaela Bouldin, Sante Storm, Elliott Storm. Step grandchildren: Chaz Storm, Conner Storm, Michael Storm, Cameron Storm, and wife, Katie Storm. Great grandchildren: Lily McDougall, and Sasha Ryan. She is also survived by her beloved cousin Jack Snyder and his daughter Sara Hansen, her husband Jeff, and their children Taylor, and Oliver. She was proceeded by her husband, Ralph (Ed) Edward Storm Jr. MaryLou was a special soul who touched many lives. She will forever be remembered in our hearts.
