

Maudie Chevalier was born on November 26, 1922 in Lawrenceburg Tennessee to her loving parents, John Thomas Cleghorn and Berline (Lambert) Cleghorn. She spent much of her early life going to school, but left in the 8th grade to take care of her father.
As a young lady, Maudie’s sense of adventure lead her out west where she found work at McDonald Douglas building aircraft during the war. Not long after, she met her soon to be husband, Jerald Chevalier on July 3, 1944. Maude and Jerald proudly brought a daughter, Sharon Chevalier-Wand (Dick), into the world. Maudie devoted herself to making a good home for their family, and took pride in all of her hard work.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Maudie passed peacefully in her home on December 26, 2014. She is survived by her daughter Sharon; 4 grandchildren; Greg (and wife Kami) Salisbury in Sandy, Oregon; Robert Chevalier in Sandy, Oregon; Steven (and wife Trudi) Chevalier in Eagle Creek, Oregon; daughter Erica (and husband Nathan) Wagnor; daughter Jenifer (and husband Mike) Peterson. She is also survived by her loving great-grandchildren; Melissa, Greg Junior, Bhody, Monty, Gus, Hank, Makena, Joseph, William, Drew, Chase and Caleb.
