Myrtle Eskew Alex passed away on April 13th, at the age of 96. She is survived by her three children: Russell, Gail, and Garry, as well as daughters-in-law Lisa and Sandi Alex, and son-in-law Art Parsons. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Ben, Daniel, Matt, Megan, David, Chris, and Jonathan, as well as her nieces and nephews. Her husband, Martin, preceded her in death, in 1983.
Myrtle loved and served God since she accepted Jesus as her Savior in 1954. She loved her family, and the great outdoors, where she spent countless hours hiking her beloved Mount Hood, and Columbia River Gorge. She was a much-loved resident of Hazelwood Apartments, where her community will feel her loss greatly.
She was a strong wife, a strong mother, a strong grandmother, and a strong friend. Thank you, Mom! We love you!
