

She was born to David J. and Frances A. Hughes on August 31, 1958.
Nancy loved spending time with her devoted and loving caregivers. They took her on many trips to the beach, the Great Wolf Lodge, and Reno where she loved gambling and having a drink or few. She was also a master teller of jokes, enjoyed laughing, and reading, and was a powerful bowler. Nancy loved her cats, her family, and her friends. Let us not forget her joy of watching all the best TV shows, Adam12, Police Woman, and Mod Squad, to name just a few. Nancy loved to be pampered and her caregivers treated her to manicures and many hairstyles through the years.
Nancy was predeceased by her father, David, and mother, Frances, and her sister, Marion Craig. Her feisty and funny spirit will be dearly missed by those that survive her. Her niece and nephew, Kimberley Davies (Simon) and Kenneth Brown (Jerri); her brother-in-law, Bill Craig. Nancy was also a Great Aunt to Zack Brown, Jake Brown, and Christopher Schetter. Nancy also deeply touched the lives of her wonderful and loving caregivers of nearly 30 years, Lequata and Willie Montgomery, Shy, and Ashliegh. The family is forever indebted to the care that they gave Nancy through the years. They made her life vibrant and full of so much fun, laughter, and adventure.
The family will be holding a private service in the coming weeks. Nancy will be inurned and placed with her mother and father at Lincoln Memorial Park.
