Nelise was the cherished daughter of Charlene Nelson, with whom she shared an especially close and devoted bond, and Robert Nelson, who preceded her in death. She was a loving sister to Nelea Lem, sister-in-law to Mikey Lem, and a proud, devoted aunt to two nieces and one nephew, each of whom she loved deeply.

Born the eldest child, Nelise naturally carried a heart of care and responsibility for those around her. Growing up in Seaside, Oregon, she was adventurous and always loving, spending long days outdoors playing, gardening, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Music was one of Nelise’s greatest joys. She had an extensive CD collection and an incredible talent for remembering song lyrics, often sharing music as a way to connect and bring happiness to others. Some of the most treasured memories are of time spent together listening to music and learning songs side by side.
Nelise had a strong desire to serve others. In her younger years, she served in AmeriCorps, and later devoted many years of her professional life as a pharmacy technician, a role that reflected her compassion, attention to detail, and genuine care for people. She took pride in helping others and making a difference in everyday lives.
A woman of deep faith, Nelise was an active Christian who loved Jesus with all her heart. Her faith guided her life and strengthened her love for family, which was always her greatest priority.
She had a great sense of humor, a joyful spirit, and a presence that made people feel comfortable and loved. She was known for being loving, passionate, beautiful, and generous, qualities that will forever be remembered.
Nelise was most proud of her perseverance through life, meeting challenges with strength, faith, and grace. Her legacy is one of love, service, resilience, and deep devotion to family.
Nelise’s passing was sudden, leaving hearts broken and lives forever changed. While the loss is profound, her love remains constant, especially in the heart of her beloved mother, Charlene, with whom she shared her most important relationship.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
