

Nettie V Waters (aka Cee Cee) was born October 17th 1954 in Picayune Mississippi of Pearl River county to Julius Smith and Mary Lou Waters. At an early age she professed to Christ and attended Paradise Baptist Church in Portland Ore. She attended Jefferson high school of Portland Ore. While living in Mississippi Nettie meets the love of her life Leon B. Jones (Sam) in Picayune Mississippi, in July of 1969. She then moved to Portland Oregon with her family in 1971. Leon and Nettie were married on November 5, 1979. They have 2 Children Richie and Christie. Her grandchildren Aronte’, Talayshia, Jalen, TreShaun, Jasmine, Amarey, and Julian is what she cherished the most.
Nettie was a devoted wife and mother and she loved her family dearly. Nettie enjoyed shopping, ministering to the youth, sewing, playing the dozens, watching scary movies, reading and discussing the bible, hanging with her family and home decorating.
Preceding her in death her Father Julius Smith (Step Mother Arbizine Smith) Mother Mary Lou Harrison (Waters) (Step Father Robert Harrison), Husband Leon B Jones (Sam) Rickey Harrison and Grandson Jarod Jones.
Nettie Leaves to celebrate her memory her son Richie Jones (Serena) and Daughter Christie Jones. She has 5 Brothers Bruce Waters wife (Barbara) of Portland Ore, Julius Grant Smith Jr. of Pontiac MI, Edward Harrison wife (Janice) of Portland Ore, Stanley Harrison (Dana) of Portland Ore, Kimble Waters of Seattle Wa. 6 sisters Pearl Rivers of Portland Ore, Gladys Smith of Pontiac MI, Merland Smith-Williams of Pontiac MI, Zenora Smith of Pontiac MI, and Jeanette Smith-Pettiway of Pontiac MI. 7 Grandkids and 1 great grandson. 1 uncle and 3 Aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
