

Olga May “Fritzy” (Horand) Boag, 84, of Portland, passed away at her home from natural causes on October 29, 2017. She was born on May 6, 1933 in Salinas, CA, but was a lifelong resident of Portland. Her parents were Gustav A. and Elizabeth (Oster) Horand. She attended Holy Redeemer Grade School, Immaculata Academy, and Portland Community College. She was a devoted wife and mother, worked at Mervyn’s, was a member of St. Peter’s Parish, donated time to the Christ Child Society, enjoyed travel, watching films, and especially downhill skiing. Olga was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Guy, of 64 years; and four siblings. She is survived by one brother Robert Horand; her daughters Pamela (Richard) LaMar, Brenda (Jim) Burk, and Connie Boag (Bruce Lewis); sons, Peter Boag (Brent Owens) and Brian Boag; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many friends. Arrangements are under the care of Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:30am at St. Peter's Parish, 5905 SE 87th Ave, Portland, with a reception following. A private committal will take place at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
