Pearlie Mae Walter

In 1962, Pearlie Mae met and fell in love with Hampton Walter; they would marry in 1964 and to this union 3 sons were born; Marcus, Michael and Maury.

Pearlie was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Fannie Belle, her husband Hampton Walter, 3 sisters: Linda Jackson, Ethel Mae Seeger and Arleen Minor, brothers: Wesley “Bud” Minor and Alfred Lee Minor.

Pearlie Mae leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Marcus, Michael and Maury (Celia); sisters: Rosine Washington (Harold) of Detroit Michigan, Lorene Peterson (Edward lll), Bettye Jean Loving, Louise Cannon, Glendora Hart and Evelyn Minor, all of Portland, Oregon, two sisters-in-law: Debra Elliot and Sadie Bingham. Grandchildren: Maury Walter Jr., Laronn Ingram Walter, Marquicha Walter and Michael Walter Jr. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives that will miss her.

The family of Pearlie Mae Walter would like to extend a sincere thank you to all who have shown support and sympathy during this time of bereavement. We would also like to give a special thanks to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for their love and support.
