

Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Richard is survived by his wife Kay, his six children; Sally Narr, Kat Price, Rickey Price, Paul Price, Dallas Bailey and Susan Angelechio. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren.
Richard was raised in Charleston, West Virginia. He grew up with 2 brothers and 2 sisters; Kathleen, Thelma, Russell and Bob.
Richard joined the Air Force when he was 17 years old. He fought in the Korean War and Vietnam, as well as being stationed in Norad for 3 years. During his service he received many awards. Richard served in the Air Force for 20 years and retired at the age of 37.
During his military service, he was also a little league coach. Richard's success in coaching championship teams was due to mentoring the players to believe in themselves and their team.
Richard joined the Post Office in 1970 and retired in 1992. He started carrying at Branch 82. He was a steward, trustee and job instructor.
Later in life, Richard met and married Kay. They were best friends and enjoyed a loving life together for 22 years.
Richard had many hobbies and interests, including hunting, fishing, golfing, dancing, and he loved his rose garden and won many awards for it.
Richard was a loyal friend and we know he is watching us from Heaven.
