

They lived in Spokane during his naval service. Back in Portland, they went into the import rug business, first in the Cartozian family store, and later in one of their own. They adopted Aram J. in 1950.
An engaging and caring people person, Rosemary volunteered in many church capacities, from Elder and Deacon to Parish Visitor. She also devoted herself to P.E.O., serving as Oregon State President in 1981-82. Other activities included Loaves and Fishes, the Albertina Kerr board, Campfire Girls and more.
Her husband died in 1990. She is survived by Aram J. Cartozian, Terri Cartozian, grandchildren Kevin, Alicia and Aram , six great-grandchildren, and many Cartozian cousins.
Her Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 1 at 2:00pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1624 NE Hancock, Portland, 97212.
