I lit a candle for Ryan on his birthday, a few days ago. I pray the Angels and family gave him a wonderful party.

Today my heart still breaks. You have been in heaven for one year now. I think about you all the time. Today I will ride a mythical Dragon for you. I will read a few pages from one of your favorite books. I will cry and I will smile. Your Auntie loves you so much.

I thought of you this morning. I wish I could wrap my arms around you and hug you tight like when you were a toddler. I wish you could wrap your arms around me and hug me tight like the loving young man you were. Auntie loves you.

I just read Charla's entry about dragon book, I have been reading a series about dragons too that I know you would have liked. We think of you all the time Ryan. I felt that you and Dad were with us on Easter enjoying a family get together. The boys miss you and so do I. I seen you in my thoughts one day and your eyes were sparkling and there were angel wings behind you. Send some angels down to be with us so we can know how to cope with our grief. Love you.

I was searching for a new book online last night. When I came upon a book that You had loaned me a few years ago. I remember that you were so excited for me to read it. It was a great fantasy story about dragon eggs and such. I decided to purchase the book because it reminds me of you. I miss you so much but I feel your presence. Tell your grandpa that his little girl misses him too. I love you both with all my heart.

We will never forget the summer we were at Sandlake and Ryan and Natasha were there camping with grandma Della.  Ryan was probably around 10 or 11 years old. Ryan was such a joy to be around, always laughing and smiling, climbing trees with Dakota and hanging out with Monique and Natasha.  I always thought Ryan had the prettiest eyes and like someone else already wrote..even his eyes smiled!  

We want to send our condolences to you Brad, Shelly and Velvet...as well as the rest of the extended family.

His memorial service was beautiful!  

May you all feel the love and peace of god during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow and sadness. God's blessings on you and your much loved son.

I never had the pleasure to meet Ryan, and from what I read here, I missed out on a special treat. Rachelle is a treasured part of our family here at the Airport, therefore when she lost her son; we lost a part of our family as well. We pray that God will ease the family’s pain and help them realize that each day will get a tiny bit easier. Ryan is with God in a place where the sun always shines, a place where hate, worries, sadness, stress and loneliness have been replaced with overwhelming happiness. We can never understand why God would take one of our loved ones but you have to believe that God has a purpose and will take care of your son Ryan.

My heart aches, but I will always love the many memories we had shared. You Were so fun to be around you can lighten up any room. I remember your young honesty that drove me crazy like the time you told torry where me and velvet were hiding when we told you not too, Or when you told uncle Paul who painted his finer nails when we told you not too... You are such a sweet person and never wanted to exit a conversation with out a smile and laugh. I love you Ryan. Tell Grandpa I love him and miss him as I do you too. But you guys can Keep the laughter rolling together I am sure!

It warms our hearts to know that, as a child, Ryan accepted Jesus Christ as his saviour.

Ryan's destiny was settled by his relationship with Christ.  For the Christian, there is no individual act or sin that can erase salvation, change eternal destiny, or separate the believer from God.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

We love you guys and will keep you in our prayers during this difficult time and always.  Know that you can lean on God and cry out to Jesus.  Jesus comforts his followers with an assurance that his teachings are true and that God will provide for them, both now and in heaven.

Even though we haven't seen each other in over 2 years I still think of you fondly Ryan.  You remain my friend and will always be my friend.  I wish better things had turn out for you and me but the struggles of life caught up with us and prevent our friendship after high school. I have always hope to run into you someday again, but I guess life is never the way you predict it to be.  I will always hold the fun memory's that we had close to me. Hopefully wherever you are now you can be happy and I will be happy to know that you are in peace.

Childress family I am so sorry to hear of Ryan's passing. Your entire family is in my prayers. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

Ryan - You could always make us laugh along when you got on a roll. So particular about your food! Also, some very interesting views on a variety of subject matters. Hey, there's a picture of you in a suite and tie! You must have borrowed that from someone. I so enjoyed those rare and silly hugs we occasionally shared. Thanks for the smiles, the chuckles, the laughs, and the gentleness.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I feel privileged to have known Ryan.  I remember him as such a funny and cheerful person and I will miss him.  I know this has been an unbearable loss for you and your family, if there is anything you need I will always be here.

Ryan, Your laugh was infectious. You could always make me smile even when you & Torry would try to convince me of something ridiculous (You both know what I'm talking about!) Although I'm not a sci-fi fan, I enjoyed listening to how excited you would get telling me about the latest book you read, movie you watched or game you played.  I will treasure all the 3-day weekends and summer days you stayed with us. Our furbabies will miss bossing around their Uncle Ryan when they want something.  Love you and know that you're in a better place and at peace.

Ryan, I have always loved you, but in the last 8-9 years I felt as if we were growing together, like we were two Zunes synced to the same system.  There is not a moment of our lives together I would change. From the fun filled summer weekends w/ random goat-off's, to our debates which would test even Julie's patience (LOL). Our humor has gotten me through a lot.  You and I were a part of one another, hold that piece tight as I will do the same.

I will have memories in my heart always of a wonderful boy and young man. Ryan always had a smile (even his beautiful eyes smiled) and knew how to make you laugh. He was witty, charming, intelligent, and very caring. I can still hear him say "love you Aunt Debbie." He loved video games, dragons and wolves. When I read a dragon book or see dragons and wolves in art I will think of him always. Love you Ryan from Auntie Debbie.

We shared a ride once and he was wearing shorts in the middle of winter, stating he did not fear cold! Then, I have no idea why we came to this, but I attempted to make him think about "the egg and the chicken", about which came first. And he is the only one, ever, that I have heard repond this: "Both, since God created them two".

I unfortunately know from experience the pain Shellie and Brad are going through. My sincere condolences to them.  I hope that you all can find peace in the near future. God will take care of him, believe me, as he will help each and everyone of you.  He will get you all through this, just trust in him!  
 
I lost my son Eric 5 yrs ago, and I know that he is with God, as is Ryan right now.  We will all be together someday, and we need to remember that whatever time we spend on this earth, that we will all be together for the eternity, so although we miss our loved ones, we will be with them again.  This thought is what gets me through the tough times.

I love you, and I wish I could tell you that. I play this game I knew you would like after I heard you played Starcraft and some other games. I wanted to see if you played it or if you would like it, but the days went by and I didn't ask Della for your phone number. And I wish I did, Ryan. I wish I had asked. I thought I had a lot more time, but it was only a week. I love you, and now you are timeless.

I am so sorry to hear of your families loss. My family will pray for all of you, that you may be strengthened by Gods grace. Sometimes you just wonder, and not have the answers, only God does. All we can do is comfort one another during this difficult time.
I just hope Aunt Emma will be OK, and Rachelle, and Brad's love for each other will also be even stronger now, over this tragedy.
