Sharon Winter (Kammerer) was the last child born to Fred and Lydia Kammerer on September 29th 1938 in Moorehead Minnesota. She came to Portland by train with her mother and brother and sisters in 1948.
Sharon had 6 sisters and 2 brother 6 preceded her in death (Ester Dix, Elaine Dvorak, Ray Kammerer, Elvira Taylor, Elsie Whited and Edith Zohner) and 2 still living (Eleanor Wilson and Wesley Kammerer).
Sharon was married to Gary Winter for over a decade. She had one daughter, Michelle, who was her best friend.
Sharon, in her younger years loved to play softball with her nieces. She stayed active through her golden years by fishing and camping with her husband. Sharon LOVED gardening. She had a green thumb and could grow something out of nothing. Her flower beds were always perfect and beautiful. Playing bingo with her sisters was another of her favorite things.
