It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stacey Drake Stephens, age 52, on August 24, 2024. Stacey was a loving mother, cherished friend, and passionate knitter whose warmth and creativity touched the lives of everyone around her.
She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on April 25, 1972. A graduate of Sunset High School and attended Western Oregon University. She was a talented knitter, and created many gifts for her friends and family. She was taken all too soon from the people who loved her. Her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is survived by her two children, Sydney Stephens and Gabby Stephens; her father, Jim Drake; her mother, Pamela Loxley Drake; her step-mother, Kathy Drake; her brother, James Langston Drake; and her step-sister, Michelle Hyde.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on November 9th, 2024 at Valley Presbyterian Community Church, 8060 SW Brentwood St, Portland, OR 97225. The family will receive those attending after the service.
