Rowe, Stella Lorraine 98 March 17, 1913 Nov. 29, 2011 Stella Lorraine Rowe, born in Golden, Colo., March 17, 1913, and passed away in her sleep Nov. 29, 2011, at Greenridge Estates Assisted Living Facility where she had been a resident for nearly seven years. She received her education in Golden. She later met and married Wilbur Rowe. They enjoyed 71 wonderful years together until they were separated by Wilbur's death in 2000. They are now happily reunited in Heaven. They had one daughter, Rose Marie Lathrop. Their family now includes four grandsons; four granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren with another due in February. The family meant everything to Stella and Wilbur and they set such a great example of a true Christian marriage for all to follow. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Skyline Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, 97229 503-292-6611. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army. She will be placed in Skyline Memorial Gardens Garden Mausoleum.
