Steven Gerald Killian son of John and Violet Killian, born July 12, 1954 in Portland Oregon passed away July 13, 2013 while in Hospice care at his sister's home in St. Helens, Oregon. He attended grade school at Holy Redeemer, Whitaker Middle School and John Adams High School. After high school he received training at Oregon Culinary Institute and worked as a chef in the Portland area hotel industry.
Steve loved football, rodeo, and golf, collecting firearms and shooting at the range. Game days were spent with his friends cooking and enjoying the competition. As an avid football fan he enjoyed playing fantasy football.
Steve was preceded in death by his father in 2002 and his mother in February of this year, He is survived by a daughter Shauna, granddaughter Jamison, his sister Sandra Whitman, and her children Brooke Esquivel, and Matthew Golding.
