She attended Jefferson High School her freshman year, Grant High School her sophomore year and graduated from Milwaukie Union High School in 1950. She retired from Standard Insurance Company in 1997.
In 1954 she married Kenneth G. Thomas, an attorney. He died in 1987.
She was an active member of the American Contract Bridge League- obtaining the rank of Bronze Life Master, a volunteer for the American Red Cross and
also made quilts for the Shriner’s Hospital. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Rychlick of Sherwood, her son, Richard Thomas of Lubbock, Texas, and four granddaughters.
