Nina was a vibrant, smart, well educated young lady with a contagious smile that would light up your day.
On September 17, 2007 Nina gave us the most precious gift ever, her son Mesiah Syre whom she loved and adored immensely. In 2018 Nina and Mesiah moved to Houston, Texas where she worked for Harris Health as a ROI specialist one.
Nina resided for eight years in Houston until returning home to Portland on November 18, 2024. On November 23rd surrounded by her mother Elnora and brothers Kenneth, Octabian and son Mesiah and sister in law Maile, Nina got her wings and ascended to rest in God's grace. She is preceded in her passing by her father Kenneth Barr, Grandparents Robert and Lillian Riley and Curtis and Leola Barr. Our sweet Nina will forever live in our hearts! We love you, Bird. You fly my baby girl and keep sprinkling your glitter.
