

Terry Lynn Coppock, lovingly referred to as Gramps, 72, of Portland, Oregon, passed away December 28, 2018 with his loved ones at his side. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 11, 1946. Terry graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, IN. He was married to his true love, Margie Coppock on February 14, 1981 who preceded him.
Terry served six years in the US Air Force with an Honorable Discharge. Terry had a long career at Southwest Gas as a Service Technician. He had a passion for inventing new ways to simplify life and tinkering with anything that could be taken apart and fixed. He had a deep compassion for animals and he loved to spoil his grandchildren. Terry had a passion for fishing, hiking, and four wheeling in the desert. He loved riding the train across the country. He always said, “Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.”
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Howard, and his mother, Elabel. He is survived by his two daughters, Kerri Fry and Nikki Adcock, his granddaughter, Kaitlen Coppock, his grandson, Tucker Fry, his, brothers, Steve and Rick and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A committal service with military honors will be held on Friday, April 19th at 1pm at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086.
