Tonya Marie Jones-Johnson

Mrs. Tonya Marie Jones-Johnson was born on April 19, 1976 in Portland, Oregon. She was the daughter to Mrs. Jo Ann Jones and Mr. Self Edward Jones. She passed away on November 18, 2013 at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Tonya was 37 years old.

She married Anthony “Tony” Lee Johnson on May 6, 1999, in Las Vegas Nevada. They were blessed with two children, U’Niek and Morrisa. She was also the step mother of Anthony and Isiah Johnson.

Tonya loved Jesus. Her family attended and worshipped at Faith Christian Center in Vancouver, Washington and Maranatha Church of God in Portland, Oregon. She enjoyed attending church and reading the bible. Tonya was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. She also enjoyed the family's dog, little Pugsly. She enjoyed shopping at the malls with her daughters. She greeted family and friends with hugs and kisses. We will miss you, Tonya.

Tonya leaves a legacy of love and compassion to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie and mother, Mrs. Jo Ann Jones. Survivors include: Self Edward Jones, husband Anthony "Tony" Lee Johnson, daughters, U’Niek and Morrisa Johnson, all of Vancouver, Washington, brother, Jessie Jones, of Vancouver, Washington, sisters, Vera Brizuela and Francis Williams (Wendell) of Vancouver, Washington., father-in-law, Kenneth Johnson Sr, of Portland, Oregon, mother-in-law Juanita Biggs (Herbert), of Portland, Oregon, brother-in law, Kenneth Johnson Jr. (Loretta), sister-in-law Tina Williams (Joseph). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
