I am posting this on behalf of Don Gordon Montgomery.

Just a few of the best things he remembers and loved about mom: 
She was always caring and understanding. Mom was kind, loving, generous, and forgiving. 
She was a great cook! 
Mom was strong, worked hard, and always took care of us. 
She stayed positive, patient and her faith remained strong no matter what hardship she faced. 
He loved her more than anyone and misses her so much. 
He wished her love and peace always.

I attended Broadway Elementary 40+ years ago.  To this day, I CLEARLY remember the kindest, most loving woman at school.  The one who hugged me when I needed it and walked with me on the playground.  The one who sat with patience as I was learning to read.  Affectionately known as "Miss Montgomery",   I don't remember a day without seeing her.  She left a mark on me that I carry to this day.  She was kind, gentle spirited, loving and quiet.  Her voice was soothing to me and just her simple presence in my life will never, ever be forgotten.  
I never did see her after 6th grade.  However, I thought of her often as I grew into adulthood.  I wanted to be like her ... approachable and kind.  It makes sense to me now that she knew Jesus.  I look back and see Him through her in so many ways.
Rest easy, Miss Montgomery.  Knowing you had a relationship with Jesus gives me such joy.  I've met your daughter, Cindy, and she's a jewel like you.
I will see you soon.  Maybe we can sit quietly and read together again.  ♥♥

Vi is my sister, I miss her so much even with all the miles between our homes, we still knew that we were there for each other. To laugh about growing up on farm, the fun and work we had. Our parents George and Violet Heist were both working.  So that made Vi my babysitter. She is the oldest and I’m the youngest. Ten years apart. She always  took time to go outside and play under the big willow tree, or read to me. She was more than a sister, and I miss her so much. You’ll always be a part of me. I’m glad you are in heaven with peace and happiness.

Grandma will always hold a special place in our hearts. My memories of her infectious laughter, sweet smile, warm hugs, and giving nature will be cherished. This world is so much less without her. I will miss you so much Grandma!

Hospital trip to have a procedure done in 2022. She always had a smile even in adversity.

Me with both my moms at the beach. I love them both so much and lost them within a month. My life has been so enriched and blessed because of their wisdom, guidance and love. I will forever miss them.
