Virginia Rose Sofich

Virginia Rose Sofich was born on March 3, 1922. She peacefully passed away on September 14, 2016. Gravesite service is scheduled for September 22, 2016 at 11:00AM at Lincoln Memorial 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. Portland, Oregon.

She is survived by her son Terry Sofich and his wife Deborah of Prineville Oregon, and her daughter Pamela Strode and her husband Tom Strode of McMinnville;

Daughter-in-law Sandra Sofich of Wamic, Oregon;

Two brothers, Bob and Vivian Kaseweter of Oregon City and Billie Kaseweter of Washington,

and one sister, Joy Hess of Gresham.

She is also survived by her grandsons Ted and (Debbie) Sofich of Corvallis, Brian and (Jackie) Sofich of Scappoose Oregon, Scott and (Lori) Sofich of Prineville, Oregon and Robert and (Karen) Kuehn of Utah;

Granddaughters Sherry and (Jim) McNamara of Tucson Arizona and Kady Strode of Lake Oswego;

12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by her husband Tony Sofich, son Michael Sofich, daughter Judy Kuehn, and grandsons Benjamin Kuehn and Billy Kuehn.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Hospice Team and special recognition to Mina Hunter of the Blessed Trinity Private Home in Oregon City. Mina comforted, loved and cared for her for over a year. She loved mother with all her heart and soul. We are eternally grateful.
