Vynita Dawn Wilcher, known to many as “Dawn”, always stood out. She will be remembered for her sense of style, her Hollywood smile that lit up the room, and her laughter that carried for miles.
Dawn was born August 2, 1961, in Klamath Falls, OR and her family relocated to Portland shortly thereafter. She passed away peacefully in her home on February 8, 2015.
Dawn is the beloved daughter of Sharon. She is sister to two brothers, Dale and Dion; and sister, Brenda. She loves her five children, Sascha, Tyson, Destiny, Shayla, and Roger, so much and she called each and every one of them “her heartbeat”. She is also survived by 11 grandkids and 3 great grandkids.
Dawn is predeceased by her father, William Perez; and brother, Glen Alva Wilcher.
A funeral service will take place at Peninsula Open Bible Church, 8225 N. Peninsula Ave., Portland, OR, on Monday, March 2, at 1pm.
Dawn will be privately laid to rest in Skyline Memorial Gardens in the Garden of the Apostles.
