Willard "Will" John Sawyer passed away August 3, 2022 at 77. Will was born April 20, 1945. He graduated from R.A. Long High School in 1963 & WSU in 1968 after a stint in the Navy on the Admirals staff in Long Beach, CA. He spent his early years at First State Bank and then later at Kaiser Permanente as a Marketing Manager for the union groups in the Portland area.
His favorite activities were golfing with his high school buddies. In earlier days, he was a star catcher for the fast pitch softball national style teams.
He was a great family man and wife, Mary, was the love of his life. Children include Tanya, Heather, Amy & Janelle and granddaughter, Kailyn.
A Celebration of Life service will occur on August 10, 2022 at the Rivershore Bar & Grill in Oregon City from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
A graveside service for Will will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 6801 SW Sunset HWY, Portland, OR 97225.
