Winifred N. Reagan “Wendy” (Lillard) was born on February 26, 1941, and raised in Ada, Oklahoma—a place that shaped her values, kindness, and quiet strength. She passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, in Portland, Oregon, with her daughters by her side, just as they had always been throughout her life. She was 84.
Wendy—formerly known as 'Winifred'—was first and foremost a mom and a grandmother, lovingly known as “Grammy.” She was fiercely devoted to her family and endlessly proud of her four daughters, Robyn, Stacy, Myndi, and Heather. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored beyond words. She shared more than 60 years of marriage with the love of her life, Jerry “JR” Reagan, and together they built a home that was always open and welcoming.
Wendy had a natural warmth and a wonderful Southern charm that made people feel instantly comfortable. She had a gift for making friends anywhere she went—Jerry used to joke that she “would talk to a coffee pot if the light was on,” and more often than not, she did. Wendy loved preparing meals, cooking for others, entertaining, golfing, and spending time with her dogs.
Her home was a gathering place filled with laughter, conversation, and love. She was kind, funny in unexpected ways, and far stronger than she ever realized. Even as dementia took so much, it never took Wendy’s spirit or her heart. In her final days, she was deeply loved, gently cared for, and never alone. She is now free from pain and dementia, finally whole again. Her family takes comfort knowing she is reunited with Jerry—laughing, dancing, and remembering everyone she loves. Wendy is survived by her daughters Robyn Burgoon of Austin,Texas; Stacy Muccino of San Jose, California; Myndi Brand of Portland, Oregon; and Heather Parmley of Portland, Oregon, along with nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Reagan.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by her family in the spring.
