Bayard Delafield Clarkson, Sr., M.D. ’74 (Hon.)—known to many as “Barney”—passed away peacefully at his Long Island home on December 30, 2025, at the age of 99. He is a descendant of Clarkson University’s founders and a devoted steward of their legacy.
