Mrs. Diane C. Hayes

Mrs. Diane C. Hayes, age 74 of Parishville, NY passed away on October 14th at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital where she had been a patient since the 9th. Calling hours and Memorial Services will be held at the Garner Funeral Home on November 14th with the calling hours starting at 10 am and then funeral services will be held at noon. Burial will follow the service at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Parishville, NY. Online condolences can be made @www.garnerfh.com. Diane is survived by her son Brian (Suzanne) Hayes; daughter Michelle Hayes and her companion Mark Gardner; brother Jack (Marlene) Planty; grandchildren Garrett and Courtney DiTullio and Brianna and Brooke Hayes and several in laws, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Timothy Hayes and her parents Amiles and Doris Planty.

Mrs. Diane C. Hayes was born on July 6, 1941 in Potsdam, NY to the late Amiles Planty and Doris Bush. She was a 1958 graduate of Parishville Hopkinton Central School. On August 4, 1962 she was married to Timothy Hayes. Diane operated her own Beauty Shop out of her home for many years. She was a founding and charter member of the Amvets Ladies Aux 265 and President until her passing. She enjoyed her dog Genny. Diane had a heart of gold, would help anyone, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
