Mrs. Geraldine J. Conklin, age 89 of Potsdam, NY passed away on December 15, 2015 at the Alice Center Nursing Home in Malone, NY. Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service in Potsdam, NY. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11 am at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Parishville, NY with Rev. Howard Venette celebrant.
Geraldine is survived by her son Robert J. (Robina) Conklin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Carol (Wayne) Young and Theresa Timkim; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Robert N. Conklin; a daughter Linda Mitchell; sisters Eleanor (Betty) Bradley, Leona Kennedy, and Ilene Jandreau and her brothers Richard and Floyd “Junie” Bovay.
Geraldine was born on December 7, 1926 in Potsdam, NY to the late Floyd Bovay and Ruth Parody. She attended Potsdam Schools. She was married to Robert N. Conklin. She was a homemaker.
