

Mrs. Mary Ann Fuller, age 73 of Gouverneur, NY and formerly of Potsdam and Colton passed away at the Riverledge United Helpers Nursing Home in Ogdensburg, NY on November 3, 2014. Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th at noon at St. Mary’s Church in Potsdam, NY with Msgr. Robert Aucoin celebrant. Burial will follow the service at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Colton, NY. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Riverledge United Helpers Wishbook.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband Donald Fuller of Gouverneur; daughters Lisa (Dan) Davis and Deborah (James) Champagne of Colton; brothers Lawrence (Joan) Varney of West Stockholm, Frederick (Kathy) Varney of Potsdam; sister Eileen Slater of Ancram, NY; grandchildren Kassie Maguire, Tiffany Green, and Jeremey and Corie Dunning; 2 great grandchildren; step daughters Christine (Andrew) Ellis and Karen (Dennis) Koerick; 6 Step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sons Frederick, Stephen, Tony and Larry Fisher and her brothers James and Charles Varney.
Mrs. Mary Ann Fuller was born January 28, 1941 in Potsdam, NY to the late Frederick and Ella Farnsworth Varney. She attended Potsdam schools. She had a marriage that ended in divorce to Elmer Fisher. She then married Donald Fuller on August 17, 1985.
