Phillip Andrew Isaman, 49, of Hannawa Falls, NY passed away at home on June 7th. Phil was born in Rochester, NY on February 25, 1964, the son of the late Arland “Ike” and Dolores (Nalewalski) Isaman. He attended Honeoye Central School, obtained a bachelors’ degree from SUNY Morrisville, and did graduate coursework at Oswego State. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday June 12th at 7:00 PM at the Garner Funeral Home in Potsdam with the Rev. Lee Sweeney officiating. Friends may gather during the hours of 3 PM -7 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Agarwal Renal Center in Ogdensburg, NY or to the American Heart Association.
On September 8, 2001 Phil married Robin Peck and they resided in Hannawa Falls among the fish-filled lakes he loved to explore and conquer. An outstanding salesman, Phil worked for Time Warner for many years, and then for the Radio Shack in Potsdam. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and could tolerate no fools at the Euchre or Poker table. All his friends and family benefited from his passion as a chef and enjoyed his recent endeavors as a pastry maker extraordinaire.
He is survived by his mother, Dolores A. Isaman, wife Robin (Peck) Isaman, son Alton Joseph Isaman, sisters Lorrie (Pam Belile) of Massena, NY and Linda (Steven) Meier and nephew Nolan Andrew Meier of Skaneateles, NY. He had a wide array of friends, many of whom deserve great praise for their unending patience and tolerance.
