Timothy M. Hayes

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diane (Planty) Hayes; a son Brian (Suzanne) Hayes of Parishville; daughter Michelle Hayes of Potsdam; four grandchildren Brianna and Brooke Hayes and Garrett and Courtney DiTullio; his best friend Genny his dog; sisters Mary Jane Lindner, Joann McGill, Cindy (Dean) Lamphere, Kathy (Randy) LaBar and Susan Hayes; brothers Charles (Ellen) Hayes, Jerry (Diane) Hayes, Joseph (Jane) Hayes and Theodore Hayes. He was predeceased by a sister Margaret (Peggy) Stone and his parents Henry and Ella (Ellis) Hayes.

Timothy was born in Potsdam, NY on April 15, 1940. He served in the United States Army from February 19, 1959 until his honorable discharge on February 18, 1965. On August 4, 1962 he married Diane Planty in Potsdam, NY. He retired from Reynolds Metals in 2000. Timothy was a charter and lifetime member of the Amvets Post 265 and one of the key individuals of founding the Post.
