Mr. Todd C. Hollinger

Funeral service for Todd C. Hollinger, 46, of Hewittville, will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam with Pastor Lee Sweeney, officiating. Burial in the Hewittville Cemetery will be in the spring. Todd passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, while at home surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice of the St. Lawrence Valley.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21, from 4-7PM at the Garner Funeral Home. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Potsdam Animal Shelter, 17 Madrid Ave; Potsdam, NY 13676.

Surviving Todd is his mother, Helen Hollinger; fiancé, Jennifer Sullivan; her children, Alexis and Lacey Sullivan; Aunts and Uncles, Larry and Della Dashno; Rich and Sheila Reichhart; Mike and Nancy Hollinger and Jerry and Sandra Hollinger and several cousins. He also leaves behind the entire Almasy family who were looking forward to embracing him as an in-law; and his talented and loyal black lab Lexi.

Todd was born, May 23, 1968 in Canton, the son of Helen Hollinger. He graduated from Potsdam High School in 1986 and from Canton ATC in 1988. Currently Todd was a millwright for the New York Power Authority in Massena. Todd loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a very hard worker and skilled woodworker, there are many homes across the county that he had a hand in building and making beautiful. His pride and joy was being outdoors and introducing youth to the outdoor activities he loved.
