DEAN, Ann Stapleton, age 60, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2013 following a long illness. A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Prattville on Saturday, September 28 at 10:00 AM with Dr. Robert Couch of First United Methodist Church, Prattville and Rev. Dana C. Miller of Union United Methodist Church, Dadeville officiating.
Following the Service, there will be a reception in the fellowship hall of the church, followed by burial in the Verbena Cemetery.
Ann was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Gardner Stapleton, her father, Max Owen Stapleton and brother, John Owen Stapleton. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Leigh McInerney of Montgomery; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Michael and Lori Barnes McInerney and grandson, Owen Jeffrey McInerney all of Millbrook; two sisters, Bettie Stapleton (Rev. Dana) Miller and Linda L. Stapleton; three nieces, Alberta E. Miller, Stefanie (Timothy) Raines and Kellie N. Stapleton; two great nieces and three great nephews and several cousins.
Ann worked for Regions Bank in Montgomery for 21 years and with Alfa Realty in Prattville for 6 years.
