Barbara M. Morris Yeargan

YEARGAN, Barbara Morris, 77, a lifelong resident of Prattville, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lena Morris, and her husband, Charles F. Yeargan, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Y. (Jim) Jackson, Niceville, FL; Charlene Y. (Charles) Mims, Warner Robins, GA; three sons, Frank (Gail) Yeargan, Morris (Anita) Yeargan and Robert Yeargan, all of Prattville, AL; sister, Dorothy Bush, Valley, AL; five granddaughters, Kristen Mims, Amy Y. Ross, Rebecca Yeargan, Taylor Yeargan and Michelle Yeargan; her five grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Christopher Jackson, Patrick Jackson, Brandon Mims, Chad Yeargan, Bobby Yeargan, and grandson-in-law, Caleb Ross; she leaves behind her “baby boy”, great grandson, Evan Mims. Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church in her honor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Coleman and Rev. Dave Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
